Hot Valley of Phx....

So Patrick flew back home, which was really sad - for so many reasons. Having him around reminded me of how much fun my trip can be with someone else around (there is nothing more entertaining than putting the top down and singing stupid songs through the desert with another person.) Also, I am not sure when I am going to be seeing him again - usually I have visiting him planned into my schedule months ahead of time. This is the first time, I see no sure sign that I will be seeing him before July - that is a very long time, even for us. Perhaps I will fly out of Seattle in early June, leave my car with Fedora or something....

Phx is hot! Ha, it is always hot here. I am staying with Pat's sister, really nice apartment with a poolside - there is Jamba Juice up the road. All kinds of things going on.... the Arizona ShootOut (one of the largest model events in the US) is happening this weekend - at least half of the best girls in the business (Tiana, Carlotta, Tomiko, Valerie, ect) are in town this weekend shooting. While I am not participating in the ShootOut, because I do not like to stand in line and feel like I am in the DodgeBall line..... I am going to try to hang out with everyone. Wednesday night, I picked Samantha Grace and we grabbed some dinner together.... and tonight, even though I think it is against the rules - I am going to attend the Meet and Greet. All the models are swapping wardrobe afterwards in Carlotta's room... Super excited about that. My wardrobe bag is so boring these days....

My mom is in town on vacation this week... weird, huh? So I am going to try to steal her for awhile - grab brunch or something. I am pretty sure that I will not be home until August, and although we are not on the best of terms, we are still really good friends - I would like to see her.

Couchsurfing party on Sunday! I love Couchsurfing.... those kids know how to have a good time.

Well, it looks like you have gotten the writing/blogging bug back. Alot going on this week. What is it about singing in cars? You just feel better, until you are sitting at a light, singing away & the car next to you is looking at you saying, "What the hell is wrong with that one?" Awkward. Did you go to the meet and greet? From the pictures, if you had not said New Mexico, I would have thought you were on a beach someplace. Shame park rangers can't be more artistic minded. Dumb question: what do you like better, color or black & white pictures? The sunglasses in Friday's video give more of a moviestarish look. cool. Is that just reflex that you have light on that side of your face? Busy week. Try to relax this weekend. Damn, did I just write a whole blog? PD

I am trying to get back into the habit of blogging, because otherwise I feel like I am disconnected from so many people on here.....

I didn't go to the actual Meet and Greet, but I did make it to the clothing swap later that night - the Meet and Greet seemed stuffy, I just wanted to see the girls.

Black and White... or Color? Oh, you. That is not a question. : ) I love them both, for completely different reasons, but emotionally - aesthetic - the depth, the feeling, the way a photograph feels. B&W or color - everything has it's place....

When I was setting up for FNM, I did not put the light on that side of my fave on purpose... it is just habit. It is completely reflex, because it has been drilled into me..

dude! If you're going to Seattle, I wanna come! Yeah, in my dreams. It'll be awhile before I can go back out there... It would be nice though. Oh, god... I thought I was the only one retarded enough to be singing my lungs out in the car. At least I'm in good company... I never pay attention to see if anyone else is gawking at my retardation anyway. It's my car and I can sing if I want to as badly or as well as I want to. I'm sure you agree.
