Mustang = Fixed (again)

Ford quotes me $550 to replace the break lines.... $550 is do-able! Whooo! Show up at the Dealership to pick up my car, "Yay! Thank you so much for fixing up my car! Means so much to me..." Guy behind the desk stares me down over his glasses. "You mean the DeathTrap?" He crosses his arms, leans back in his swivel chair, "That old thing is eaten up with rust, like a cancer. The frame is literally rotting off the bottom - rotting, do you hear me? Ever watch the Flintstones!? Kinda like that - but you are going 70 miles an hour... As soon as you can afford a new car - get rid of this car." Scary-much?! Just a bit! My car has never had a name before - but I am tossing around names such as Death-ster, DeathEater, DT..... eh? Speaking of 'Eh'.... someone told me the other day that I sound Canadian!? Not sure what a Canadian sound like? French speaking northerners? Imagine them saying "Eh" a lot.... To be fair, I also use, "Yo" and "awesome"just as often.... therefore - have to be fair and say that I actually sound more like a Australian rapper surfer from Canada, if anything else. The Lincoln Tunnel

Tracy borrowed my car yesterday to attend a shoot - On her way home the breaks went out on the mustang!!!!!... Luckily she steered out of traffic, slammed into a couple of plastic poles in the Lincoln Tunnel, slowed herself down enough to make it to the side of the road. Police towed her out.... Tracy is fine. The car is a little beat up, but fine. Had the mustang towed at 2:30am to a Pep-boys somewhere in Queens.....

Happy Tracy is alive - sad my car is broken - especially with the big move to Austin coming up next week..... not sure where I am going to come up with this money? The people at Pep-Boys just called and said that the car is so rusted the break lines have busted apart, leaking break fluid - Pep-boys will not touch it because all the rust is a liability.... having it towed to the Ford Dealership. $169.00 for diagnostics test. Tomorrow afternoon, I will know if I can afford to fix it - or if I will have to junk it...

Tracy and I in Long Island

Man. What a week! Arrived to NYC before Tracy did. 9pm, Friday night - pulled up to Frog's mansion-sized place in Bayport Long Island, car packed full of stuff, empty coffee cups littering the front seat, tired tired tired - "Initiation time!" he cheers as I climb out of the car. Next thing I know, I am doing shots of Yager in the basement - adding to their already large collection of thongs and granny panties hanging from the ceiling.... Stu (halfway in the bag) spent the evening repeating dirty-phrases over-and-over to his girlfriend Sieanna, "Touch the taint" "Suck my balls" "Fuck you up the asshole." It was a delightful evening of dirty-drunk-talk... should have sent you a postcard....

Tracy's initiation night consisted of the Pussy-Paddle (a paddle formed in the shape of a kitty!) - Even though Frog did not smack her very hard, Tracy still bruised-up with a nice pair of Kitty ears on her butt..... hehe.... she got an "Ass-Kitten"

Worked with really talented guy in Brooklyn named Zowie (Zue-ee'). Young guy, maybe late twenties.... relocated from the barrier Island St Vincent and the Grenadines (sounds like a band, huh?) Zowie and I were shooting at his friend's place. Although Zowie's friend was not part of the shoot, the guy just kept lurking.... staring, oogling for a boob pop out.... kind of creepy... all that staring. He got so annoying, we kicked him out..... Around 11pm, Zue and I decide to shoot outdoors... we go into the back yard, start shooting, clothes falling off, blah blah blah.... look up at the apartment and see all the lights on the first floor being turned off. Followed by both the roommate and the neighbor whispering through the open window together "Yea, dats nice, oooh yes. Baby, sexy titties." Guess they had no idea the window was open!? When Zowie and I finished shooting, the two guys had turned all the lights on and were chilling-out on the front porch talking about how they had been there the whole time.... hehe....

Tracy shot some "stuck" fetish this week. We expected "stuck" fetish to be girl-caught-in-closet or girl-locked-in-room - But, in fact, "stuck" fetish is "sticky" fetish..... Tracy got covered in Marshmallow Fluff and had to Stick-to-things. In this case, she was stuck to a magazine.... hilarious. Need to figure out how to upload video off the blackberry... it amazes me what some guys can get-off to...

Harry Potter goes Dumpster Diving!

Joel found a place that hit photoshootin expectations ..... Hancock Airport Base! I have lived in Syracuse for most of my life, never had a clue that this structure even existed.... Built in the 1950's - abandoned in 1990's, the base was originally constructed to house soldiers at the airport. Entire streets of abandoned buildings, lined up and forgotten. Nature taking over the roads, trees breaking through the concrete - the city does not have enough money to demolish the place... so... only a few miles from the airport.... it sits... rotting....

Over dinner, Joel brought up the fact that Harry Potter was opening..... ! Now I am not the biggest Harry Potter fan, but Matt, on the other hand, is sorta kinda a Harry Potter fanatic (he has read all the books at least five times).... So Matt started bouncing up and down on his seat, "Can we go? Can we go?" Sure! Why not!? Figured the show would be sold-out - but worth a shot on a Tuesday evening! Since it was THEE opening-night, I kept imagining the theatre teeming with Wizards and people dressed up as demented-looking Muggles. "We cannot possibly go without dressing up! Matt! Do you have any Hogwarts clothing!?"

Wizards-galore! It was like being part of a really under budgeted movie! Highschool kids in their graduation outfits, little boys tripping over their Gryffindor scarfs, girls with dollar-store geek glasses, Mad-Eye Moody wearing duct-tape over his head! Matt, Sara, and I had bamboo-stick wands (made from untying all of Matt's tomato plants in his garden)! I rocked out this really original black fitted-sheet as a cape! Fantastic!

The movie itself was OK. Whatever.

Got back around 3:30 am - Matt and I decided to go dumpster diving (aka garbage hunting) until 6am. Found all kinds of fun stuff. A beautiful-red toaster, a rainbow belt, some neat stuff for my car - Matt found some great wooden chairs for his backyard, a matching wooden table, a few potted plants, and this really funny looking felt-scarecrow-hat which he insisted wearing around all night... Good times.

NYC on Friday morning.... geeze, time goes by much too fast.

Skinny Head

After my brother's engagement party - followed by "Hot-dog-hamburger-yummy-potato salad-pass me a Budweiser-day".... Matt and I are spending the rest of the week at the gym. Goal: Trying to create a 'skinny-head'. Skinny head is when you are not exactly skinny, but you feel like you earned skinny status because you worked-out so hard ..... Two hours of cardio yesterday. This afternoon we are trying for three..... hopefully, my heart will not burst like the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart trick in Kill Bill - because sometimes, with a heart rate of 200, I just imagine it happening like that....

Oooh! Tracy is coming out to NYC! Really excited.... Was pretty sure it was impossible for her to purchase tickets since they are rounding-out at about $800 now. But Tracy contacted a good friend in TX and (because he is awesome) he is flying her to Dallas, working with her, and then putting her on a plane to NYC.... D, I love you! Not sure if you picked up on it, but I was really worried about NYC - it is the one city where I can count on two hands, all the bad things that have ever happened to me in this business. Even though Tracy and I are not together the entire trip, it will be great to have someone to ride the subway back and forth for awhile - it will be nice to have someone to walk around the city with....

Tonight Matt and I are headed over to my buddy Joel's place. He just opened thee only 'all Vegan' cafe in NY state found outside of NYC. His place is called Strong Hearts. Guess the cafe is getting a lot of business, I am so happy for him! Joel is a fantastic person..... met him a few years back when he asked me to go on an Urban Exploration trip. The two of us hopped on his bike, broke into all kinds of abandoned places together. There were buildings where the carpet was so covered in flora, you had to wade through it. Last year, he volunteered to work on the Sea Shepard, saving whales off the coast of Japan. Actually, there is a great photo of him in National Geographic! It is close-up of Joel and some of his shipmates, floating in the open waters -with this giant Japanese whaling ship is closing in on them. After the Sea Shepard, he became a professional gambler, saved enough money to buy himself business here in town. Tonight, Joel and I are shooting together - it will be his first nude shoot! I love getting to be the first! : ) Yay!

Photos! Fourth of July (aka: "Hot-dog-hamburger-yummy-potato salad-pass me a Budweiser- day") Hanging out with the roomie's family in Ohio - I have fourteen younger cousins, and not a single one of them is as wonderfully behaved as these two.... If it was possible to recreate children like this - I would consider having them.....

Things to ponder....

Some day it will all come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else. Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end. It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. What will matter? How will the value of your days be measured? What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave. What will matter is not your success but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence but your character. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone. What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what. Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident. It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice. Choose to live a life that matters. - Michael Josephson

I am not very religious..... but amen to that.

Happy Fourth of July (or something like that)

I do realize that the Fourth of July is a Federal Holiday that celebrates Independence from Great Britain..... but really, whoever names holidays should just go ahead and rename today....."Hot-dog-hamburger-yummy-potato salad-Day" Nothing rings freedom like cramming burnt hotdogs down your throat while guzzling some American brewed beer.. "Pass me a Budweiser"

As a free and liberated citizen of the United States of America, I am very thankful to be a part of this country - Just wish that I could also be free and liberated from all the calories that are soon to ensue....

Headed out to a Fourth of July cook-out across town. Hotdog, hamburger, yummy-potato salad party!!! "Pass me a Budweiser" .... Here I come!
