Dancing Sweat....

Perhaps it was all the sweaty people or the freezing temperatures that got us - but Coachella, as fun and wonderful as it was, made both Isobel and I incredibly sick.... neither of us can talk really well and we keep swapping our over-the-counter drugs..... Isobel goes, "Well I bought Claritin... maybe it is allergies?" And I go, "I bought Sudafed because I cannot breathe..." We complete drug pushers - swapping back and forth, back and forth - when it comes down to it - the two of us are just sick. Plain ol' sick.

Ree, who is a model from NYC...(located in thee photo above) is getting into town on the 6th of May... and I keep hoping we can grab dinner or something...

Staying in a prime area of LA - West Hollywood with Isobel's old Bostonian roomie's apartment, hanging out at his new digs... located south of Sunset Strip and north of Santa Monica Blvd. Last I went out briefly to grab dinner and ended up at transvestite bingo, where they deliver your food-bill in a ruby red slipper....

How do you know that you are in LA? - You know you are in LA when your photographers does a line of coke in front of you and does not even blink as to if you care or not. You know you are in LA when a homeless man sits down on the sidewalk, right beside your dinner table, and patiently waits while you finish the last drop of your bottled water (here in CA your water bottle is worth 5 cents). You know you are in LA when you are naked, tied up, in the trunk of car at 11pm - and no one calls the cops (because, even in NYC, with all that goes on there, someone would still call - just in case).....

Isobel and I got invited to attend Dom Con with the guy who runs Skin Two magazine.... I am not sure if it is really my scene (most of the attendees are fetish life stylists), but I am considering just going because Skin Two is a great publication and Isobel and I haven't gotten to hang out much... She leaves early in the morning for work, and I get back to the apartment late - We spend half the night talking about boys with the lights off. Just like a 6th grade sleep over - but more words like, "cock" "fuck" "dong" (dong is such a funny word)....

Ha, on the topic of dongs - Isobel just had me just dying yesterday. If you have not done your research, Isobel does girl/girl porn. Out here in the porn capitol of LA, she has been shooting like crazy. Late last night, she walks into our bedroom, with a very serious face.. goes, "Geeze, I just burped.... and it tasted like dildo....

Why did you nuke Michigan?

Complete accident - when I first made the traveling map, I was removing states that I did not plan on going to (including Michigan) - but when I finished, it looked really weird. So I added all the states again - but forgot Michigan (because it does not look like it belongs there....

So in other words, I nuked the state off the map - not on purpose, just because I am not a geography major. : )

...and I thought it was the bad gas mileage their SUVs get :)

I hope you and Isobel feel better soon.

So, LA sounds like a place where anything, and everything can happen. Bad for me because that was I was going to ask you. So, just for giggles, what is the most surreal thing you have seen in LA? Who knew being tied up,naked, in the back of trunk was a common occurrence in LA? Just saw your FNM clip. Its just not a Friday without it. Is singing in the bathroom like singing in the car? You just feel good about it. I hope the two of you are feeling better. Stick with the Nyquil. Works every time.

We are getting a little bit better - Isobel went to the hospital the other day because it seemed like she was getting worse - but things are good now.

The weirdest thing I have seen in LA? I am not sure - I think I see the stranger stuff in NYC, to be honest - there is the naked cowboy in Time Square and erotic magic shows in the street... LA is mostly just bad traffic and nice weather.. perhaps I am not seeing all of it, but so far - it seems tame enough....
