Broke out the Mamiya - Tracy and I shot off my first roll of 120 film. Shot it by the Burner warehouse last week (Austin has so many neat places to shoot, tons of murals and things). As for the photos themselves, I know that they turned out grainy... but I was shooting 400 speed film that expired three years ago AND the sun had just set, so I was pushing my luck.... regardless, I really like them a lot...

Those are awesome. I so wish you two would have made it to the Dallas area. I had a fun shoot planned too. Oh and I had a camera for you to use also.
Good job!!!
you have to love 120 ...
digital is like a rough sketch, whereas film's like a Caravaggio....

I like them. You're making me want to go dig out one of my 120 roll film cameras and shoot some film.:-)
I always found it challenging to shoot a square format image. Composing images for it makes you think. At least you don't have to worry about whether you should frame things for either a portrait or landscape orientation.;-)
Love the vintage feel of your photos. Tracy is sweet on the eyes, your location choice was superb.
These shots look FANTASTIC! You have the perfect amount of grain and I really love the lighting!
