In other news.... tomorrow is my Alaskan cruise!!!! I am super excited about it - I have my own little cabin with two beds that I can jump back and forth on. Yay!
Doing well with scheduling this month - Booked as far as July 20th and as far as Chicago - it is going to be a rush to get back to NY in time for Family Vacation but it is really gratifying knowing that I do not have to worry about scheduling for awhile.
Tracy, a model friend from Tucson, is going to be joining me somewhere in Minneapolis and will drive all the way back to Syracuse with me. It is going to be awesome to have someone to travel with again.
Been in Seattle for almost a week now with Fedora..... I kidnapped her the other day and we drove out to Olympic National Park - the drive was beautiful, the mustang got to ride a ferry, we drove through forests that were so prehistorically beautiful - it hurt your eyes to see so much greenery. Was sadly disappointed with Olympic Hot Springs, which turned out to be smelly, dirty, disgusting - with about four inches of sulfurous black muck. Luckily, the hike was really beautiful with wooden bridges over raging white waters - very National Geographic-like.

nana nana boo boo - I have Tracy right now and you don't! Well not really - Kordelia has her right now - I'm posting this.
We all send our love and hope you have an awesome cruise!
BTW - Samantha was great!
See you soon London.
Dave
Sounds like you've got things rolling along. On behalf of all men, thanks for the love on FNM Friday. Forgive me for saying so: Is there anything you don't look good in? Thats cool that Tracy will be riding with you. Should make the ride more enjoyable. Seattle sounds like it had a bit of everything, including a good friend- Fedora. Now thats a good week.
sounds like a good chance for something new to happen, having finished one project.
congratulations!
read a bit around your blog, just a tiny bit and came across Your thoughts about a deeper sense of life.
I agree 100%,
in my case, my little house in the Norwegian woods helps a lot to se things clearer!
Heard You are going to Europe. Lots of luck!
Glad to hear you are doing well and that your bookings are picking up. I soooo wish you would come back to VA!!
That picture of you in the moonlight kicks major ass!!
Enjoy the cruise. Take lots of pictures.
Hey, London-Great pics, great stories, great blog. You've been bookmarked for awhile now-Looking forward to the time when you sit down to put your book together.
Dunno if I overlooked a photo credit on this post, wondering whose work this is? I especially like the middle one, lovely portrait. All the best!
Oh Tracy - I love Tracy.... hopefully everything will work out and she will be on the trip in July.... : )
Europe! You know I am totally terrified that things won't work out - but completely ready to make the trip regardless. Things will work out because they always do.... I am going to be so lost without my car. I love that car. I just arrived in Juneau this morning, and all I want to do is go driving through the mountains... it is not fair...
Never knew if people paid attention to photo credits... : ) But since you asked. Ed Freeman is the first photo - he is a fantastic artist, putting this crazy gallery show together - he turned me into lamb chops, I will never show the photo.... ha, ever. But that one photo is quite nice.... The one that you like best was done by Oliver Regueiro who is doing the environmental refugee project. I shot that photo in the Everglades a few months ago... the last one is something that I photoshopped a few years ago....
I just love the shit out of you. It is really neat to read what you think of meeting me. Putting a connection into words is a feat, but you have a way with language. You are welcome anytime. ANYTIME>
