While I never think that sexual behavior is appropriate at a shoot, this question reminded me of a photoshoot from a few months ago.
I was shooting with a photographer that was wearing these super tight, white-washed 80's jeans that clung to him like a second skin. We were shooting artsy stuff in a window and he gets this HUGE (I am talking monstrous) erection down the front of his pants. There was barely any room in his pants to start with. I did not know what to do? He was not trying to hit on me and he was not acting sexual. He was, actually, acting like he did not even know it was there. So I just tried my best to ALSO ignore the giant python looking-thing poking down his thigh. Eventually, though, this large wet pre-cum stain started soaking through his pants and I just could not take it anymore. I was like, "This is super weird! I don't know if I should excuse myself or if YOU should excuse yourself?" Eventually I returned to the shoot, the thing in his pants went down and we finished taking photos... but I thought it was just hilarious. Not that he had an erection, but that he had an erection in white washed jeans with a pre-cum stain.

You are sexy.I am your fan.
Thank God! I was worried, and I bet I wasn't the only one. I know you said you were tired of it and wanted something different, but some of us do not handle change to well.
That has to be one big drawback to your profession. If you do not mind, I have question for you:
When you are doing a shoot, & the photographer has you posing every which way and haveing you have a certain look on your face; What is going through your mind?
Obviously, it is harder than other times (excuse the bad choice of words) to keep a straight face when all you notice is the old guy with the woody busting out of his jeans!
Good luck on the road. PD
Haha... you were worried for my hair! That is quite entertaining, thank you. : )
Well usually, I pose myself (when you are paying a model, you should expect the model to do their makeup, come with fun wardrobe, know their light, exude your idea, and pose pose pose).... but anyways, what am I thinking about? Usually I pretend that I am on the other side of the camera - and I try to figure out what I would like the model on the other side of the lens to do....
If you are talking about the "O" pose, that open mouth, ecstasy look..... When a photographer asks me to pose like that - I am secretly rolling my eyes behind closed lids. : )
You are such a tomboy sometimes, that's so cute. I'm sure the old guy had to literally peel himself out of his clothes afterwards I'm sure (yuck)! Glad you went dark, trust me blonde just isn't you; love your eyes too, different colors is always cool. You are so unique and a breath of fresh air among all the cookie-cutter wanna-bes out there; you're the real thing. Oh and happy birthday...here's hoping you got what you wanted. Nighty nite.
BAHAHAHA, good thing he wasn't wearing loose sweats where he would've gotten a "tent" effect!
Ha.... the good 'ol tent effect. : ) *giggle*
I saw that thread, but didn't feel obliged to comment. That said, the mental vision of the acid washed boner is burned in my mind. Thanks. And pass the brain bleach.
While I can't recall an instance of pitching a tent while shooting, the mere possibility of such things occurring is yet another good reason to wear my cargo shorts during all shoots....
No need to cripple oneself for one's hobby, right?
Good thing My Tent Effect wasn't noticable. That would have been embarassing.
Ever done any shoots in the 'hood? There are some pants around here so baggy a guy could have a baseball bat in there and nobody would spot it...

Oh bless, what a sweet story. By the way i'll have you know that leg warmers tucked into stone wash denim was the "in" thing once. You got so much street cred for that look.
Keep those roots firmly dark young lady ;-)
Kudos xx
Hope your impending NYC visit goes well... I'm on shooting hiatus right now, as I've landed in a permanent job with a new law firm, but I would always be up for a beer or a sandwich or something.
and why you did not get the good occasion?
