I know it's not your first thought, but my parents have had several calenders over the years of pics like you took in FL of the sunset etc.. Just a thought.

Hope things pickup for ya soon.deeredoctornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156948085771711450.post-76427432516584228212009-03-28T20:11:00.000-04:002009-03-28T20:11:00.000-04:00Yea - I would love to put a calendar together.... ...Yea - I would love to put a calendar together.... but in order to do that - I have to own the rights to the photos (complicated matter). : ( While I recently started putting a clause on the releases for many TF photographers - almost two years of my work belongs solely to the photographers.....

This means that I cannot reproduce, sell, make prints - more importantly, I cannot put a book together without hunting down every photographer that I shot with - and getting a signed release saying I can use their photos - half of them would say No anyways, or they would want a cut. It is nearly impossible to give 40 photographers a 'cut' of a profit... it would be like... $1 or something....

It is crap. But it what it is.

The army photos you are talking about - they all belong to the photographer, who also makes calendars.... http://www.classic-pinup.com/ I will be in the 2010 calendar for next year... I will also be at the Reading AirShow promoting his 2009 calendar.... so if you live in PA, come visit us!

Just put all my stuff together for the ebay sale - I have a bunch of fun posters that Frank DeBlase gave me - tons of prints that I own rights to - My favorite roadtrip CD - clothes - heels - an mp3 player - my old digital camera (that makes me sad to lose) - I was going to sell my ipod, but I cannot do it - I need it to stay sane in the airports...

What else do you guys want in the sale? Anything in particular that I might be able to dig up overnight?

Hahaha... Jim.... so the paragraph I keep coming back to is this:

"What!? Your pet turtle? No you cannot pay me with your pet turtle, I am sorry..." I was not sure if my photographer for the day just did not hear me or if what I was saying was not making it through his head. He just continued standing there, pressed up against the doorway, teary eyed, holding his pet turtle towards me. "I paid $100 for him last year. It should be enough to cover the extra hour we just worked" I kept looking at the tiny spotted turtle in the palm of his hand - Was it even alive? It looked headless... Either way, it was going to bake alive in my car, roadtrips were not invented for tiny spotted turtles....London Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03603173926854954386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156948085771711450.post-28250907161904676042009-03-28T19:03:00.000-04:002009-03-28T19:03:00.000-04:00Okay, let's help you out with your novel's first p...Okay, let's help you out with your novel's first paragraph:

"They called him a guy with camera, or GWC, a term usually reserved for perverts who were too scared to go to strip clubs, so they took pictures of naked models instead. Jonas was a GWC. And when London accepted what she thought was a legitimate photo shoot, she was - at first - surprised to find Jonas planned for her to sit on his lap while he photographed her ..."

It's either that, or :

"It was a dark and stormy night..."

Take your pick.Jim in Huntsvillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03578895095543071696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156948085771711450.post-63104229701787106782009-03-28T18:37:00.000-04:002009-03-28T18:37:00.000-04:00Glad you had Matt with ya. What about putting some sort of theme together for a calendar?? I kinda am fond of the army military photos you have. Reminds me of the girls painted on military aircraft back in the day.

You might be broke but sometimes you just need to get away from daily life, ya know.. I know I am getting to that point, dad sick with cancer, daughter sick, trying to start a new business, lots of bills, prior commitments, agh.. I am jealous of your time off...

Good luck with the sale and banjo!deeredoctornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156948085771711450.post-31221201968061509902009-03-28T12:03:00.000-04:002009-03-28T12:03:00.000-04:00I do have a paypal - but I do not like asking peop...I do have a paypal - but I do not like asking people for money...

.... just check out the sale once it is up.... Pat is out of town and I am stuck in the house with no money, no food, and no gas - I feel like I am back on my camping trip with Matthew - eating saltines for a week straight.....

I hope he is eating something warm and happy in the Cuse.... I wish he had a cell phone... I would vicariously live through him at this moment... haha

Credit cards suck so much! I came from a family that had thousands upon thousdands of credit card debit - One time my dad turned off our power for two months to try to catch up with our payments. I really decided that I would never let my life be like that.... With my job, I need a card (flights, hotels, blah blah)... but I have only one card. It goes up to $5000... I almost always keep it under $2000.... but these past few months have been spiraling out of control... it really started when I got sick in Feb.... I missed $1400 in shoots in Pittsburgh when I had that fever and was stuck in bed - and I missed another $800 in FL because I was still dying.... credit cards suck.... I hate them. I do not hate many things... but I specifically have much hate towards all that plastic...

I have really great credit... have not missed a payment in almost two years!..... hahaha... I think it is great that you write them nasty letters. I am too nice to do that(and a bit too distracted at times) to do such a thing - but man-oh-man do I honor such a thing.... whooo!

Pat loves me - he really won't care at all. : ) Perhaps I will spend all this wasted time in Cleveland making him something fun... like a rubix cube! made out of bottle caps! I am bored enough to do it - for sure...

Hey Steven! Welcome to the blog! My goal this year is to start writing some kind of novel based off all this internet modeling.... I want to do it. I need a good first paragraph though to get me writing..... and it just... has... not... hit me yet...

EBAY SALE starting Sunday.... yes. Sunday. I am going to get all my life together and sell it all on Ebay this weekend.... whooo! You can everything, but I am keeping the banjo and the laptop!
xoLondon Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03603173926854954386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156948085771711450.post-1650397225242331852009-03-27T20:39:00.000-04:002009-03-27T20:39:00.000-04:00Love your blog, read every posting. They are one of the most evil things to ever be invented. When I get those applications in the mail begging me to become on of their junkies, you know what I do: since there is no postage required, I merely write a vulgar response on the application and send it right back to them. They don't know where it's coming from and they have to end up paying for the postage. LOL! Just my simple way of getting back at these bastards who put me in such bad debt years ago and cutting down on my junk mail. Oh and another thing, if you have bad credit and answer one of those things and get rejected, it goes as a mark against you on your credit report so be careful.

I'm sure Pat will understand if he really loves you; times are tough for a lot of people and I'm sure many relationships are being tested right now. Call me a Romantic, Bohemian. etc....but I believe money shouldn't be sticking it's ugly green nose into my personal relationships, love should always conquer all. Corny? Lame? Maybe. But I refuse to be ruled by those ugly, ghastly green pieces of paper.

I would never call you lame, just reading this wonderful blog of yours pretty much confirms that (been a reader for two years now). Things will pick up Dear. Hopefully your trip will be scumbag free. As an Artist, I've never disrespected a woman. It just isn't in me. Women are the greatest treasures, to be loved and appreciated. I don't know, that's just the way I was raised and I won't let this cynical, digital world change me. Ebay sale? Count me in, just let us know. You've done these before and all your fans and friends always come through. Hope everything works out for you. You have Tucson, Cali & Tracy to look forward to. That's something, & something is better than nothing. If you do the sale, let us know. You've got friends that will come running.
